Keep Going!

"If you are going through hell, then keep on going." --Winston Churchill

I've seen this quote twice in a week. I like it. It reminds me of what Robert Hargrove wrote a few years ago:

"One of the most important action steps a coach can take is to simply keep people in action, even if they are not successful at first." He goes on to say, "Once you get people in action, it's important to keep them there by teaching them the new skills and capabilities they need to succeed."

It's easy to quit when things are tough. And, at the right time, quitting might be the appropriate next step. Often, however, people don't press through difficulties and therefore miss learning valuable character lessons, skills, and experiences.

Keep going, and get a coach to walk with you.

I've sure had to take Churchill's advice the past 3 weeks. I moved apartments. It was my most difficult house move yet - and we've moved a lot.

I went into non-emotional "robot" mode to slug my way through. I kept thinking, "keep going, in three weeks most of the problems will be resolved".

I appreciate the prayers of so many friends during this difficult time.
